Much of the work in psychophysics requires the precise temporal coordination of a set of signals from different sources that are either analog, digital, or a mixture of both.
HubERT – Hub for Experimental Research Trials, is an open-access analog and digital signal acquisition box built for that purpose. It is capable of multi-channel A/D conversion and has is designed to interface with hardware including:
- fMRI
- EEG
- MEG
- eye tracking
This device is cheap to build, the software is open-access and example code is freely available.
Chiasma is supporting the development of HubERT with Arduino programming assistance and hardware building assistance as well as connection to industry partners.
